AIA Asian Leaders Program
Course Agreement 

This Online Course Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between AIA Asian Leaders Program scholarship Awardee, hereinafter referred to as the "Student," and API Rising LLC, a company registered under the laws of the state of California, hereinafter referred to as the "Company," collectively referred to as the "Parties."

Course End Date: Nov 19, 2025

 

Course Information: 

AIA Asian Leaders Program (AIAALP) is a culturally-conscious cohort-based curriculum focused on leadership development through an Asian cultural lens. The AIA AL Program is a culturally tailored program specifically designed to empower Asians with 8-15 years of experience who want to articulate their value better, scale their impact, and accelerate their career.

Payment:

Asians in Advertising has paid for tuition for the Asian Leaders Scholarship Program. 

 

Course Terms and Obligations:

The company shall provide Student access to the 2025 AIA Asian Leaders Program, including all course materials and resources, for the course duration and for 6 months following the course start date. 

The Student agrees to actively participate in at least 7 out of 8 sessions of the online course, complete all assigned coursework, and abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by the Company.

The company shall make reasonable efforts to ensure the smooth running of the course, provide the necessary support, and address any queries or concerns raised by the Student in a timely manner.

Student acknowledges that the course content provided by Company is for educational purposes only and does not guarantee any specific outcomes or employment opportunities.

The Student agrees to complete pre- and post-program surveys to help us evaluate and improve the program.

The Student agrees to provide a 15-30-second video or written testimonial upon the program’s completion.

The Student grants Asians in Advertising and the Company permission to announce your participation through our official communication channels.

 

Rules of Conduct and Confidentiality:

The Student shall treat all fellow participants with respect and professionalism throughout the course. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior towards other participants will not be tolerated. 

Student acknowledges that all information shared within the course, including discussions, course materials, and any proprietary information provided by the Company or other participants, is strictly confidential. The student shall maintain the confidentiality of such information and shall not disclose or share it with any third parties without the express written consent of the Company and the relevant participants.

The company reserves the right to take appropriate action, including immediate termination of the Student's participation in the course, without refund, in the event of any unacceptable behavior, violation of rules of conduct, or breach of confidentiality.

 

Intellectual Property:

The Company retains all rights, title, and interest in all course materials, including but not limited to videos, presentations, documents, and any other materials provided during the course.

The Student agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or share any course materials without the express written permission of the Company.

 

Limitation of Liability:

The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the course, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, United States. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.

 

Entire Agreement:

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding and agreement between the Parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.

 

By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • I understand that submitting this form signifies my intent to participate in the AIA Asian Leaders Program facilitated by API Rising.
  • I confirm that I have read and understood the program details, structure, and commitments involved.
  • I agree to uphold the community guidelines and program expectations set forth by API Rising.
  • I consent to being contacted by API Rising for program communications, scheduling, and updates.
  • I understand that submission of this form constitutes my digital signature and agreement to these terms.
